CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

WEDNESDAY EVENING

SPRING SEMESTER RUNS FROM JANUARY 17 - APRIL 3, 2024

RPC Kids provides children with two paths to BECOME and BELONG on Wednesday nights!

Bible Drill trains 3rd-6th graders how to hide God’s Word in their hearts by memorizing scripture and learning the books of the Bible.

Ignite Kids offers children in 1st-5th grade an amazing opportunity to grow in both discipleship and a skill while encouraging community with other kids. The spring semester discipleship classes will focus on building biblical foundations, growing and deepening relationships with Christ, and developing leadership skills. Discipleship offerings include:

  • 1st – 2nd grade: Tiny Apologetics (Registration is full)
  • 3rd – 5th grade: Tiny Systematics
  • 4th – 5th grade: I'm a Christian Now
  • 5th graders only: Leadership5

  • Tiny Apologetics (Registration is full)

    1st – 2nd Grade

Our children face a cultural, uphill battle. We live in a world that will be quick to teach that right is wrong, and to offer them blurry lines between what is true and untrue. As they grow up in this world, they are going to start asking good and important questions.

In exploring these questions, our kids are going to learn that the historic Christian faith is not an untested, flimsy thing, but a grounded, historically tested, and culturally relevant work of God – the same God who invites them to know Him personally through Jesus.

  • Tiny Systematics

    3rd – 5th Grade

We want to help you teach your kids about the God who made them, loves them, and wants to have a relationship with them. This is what Tiny Systematics is all about! We want to help your child grow in knowing God through His Word, understanding the core doctrines of the Christian faith, seeing how it connects to their everyday lives, and growing in loving the God of the Bible!

  • I'm a Christian Now

    4th- 5th Grade

In this class we will cover how to become a Christian; a deeper understanding of salvation, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper; what it means to be a church member; the importance of Bible reading, prayer, worship, service and giving; how to tell your testimony; going on mission; and continuing to grow as a Christian in difficult times.

This class is for 4th-5th graders who have been through believer's baptism.  Baptism is a pre-requisite to registering for this class.

  • Leadership5

    5th Grade

Kids are not merely the leaders of tomorrow; they can have a measurable impact on the Kingdom right now! In this class, 5th graders will learn foundational biblical leadership truths as they develop their imaginations and put creative thinking into action. They will also work together to design service projects that impact real needs in the community.
